Are you looking for some grown up desserts for St. Patrick’s Day? Many desserts are enhanced by a little bit of alcohol flavoring, and few holiday’s bring out the Boozy Irish Desserts like St. Patrick’s Day!
These delicious Irish desserts feature Bailey’s Irish Cream, Guinness or Whiskey to add a little excitement and depth of flavor. Of course, since most of them are baked the alcohol is cooked out, leaving only the taste. I found 18 of my favorites to share for the holiday. Just click on the picture below to see the Irish dessert original recipe.
My husband’s birthday is coming soon, and even though he is not Irish I am planning to celebrate with Corned Beef, Cabbage and Irish Cream Cake, because everyone is a little Irish this time of year!
What is your favorite Irish dessert for St. Patrick’s Day?
These desserts look SO good! I’m not a huge fan of alcohol, even cooking with it kind of scares me, but I know that it usually leaves behind a great flavor.
I like making tipsy desserts 🙂
What a great selection of treats! I may need to try that grasshopper pie.
St. Patrick’s Day is such a fun holiday!
Those sweet rolls look fantastic!
Now that is a list worth pinning! I think I would most like to try they Bailey’s Peanut Butter Blossoms.
Baileys Irish Creme muffins?. Umm yes please!!
I love St Patrick’s Day! I was lucky enough to spent two of those holidays in Dublin–it was amazing both times! I always make the same dinner on 3/17–Dublin Coddle, Soda Bread and my special Guinness Chocolate Cake. The men drink Guinness, I prefer tea!
Thanks so much for featuring my Creme de Menthe mini trifle!
