I love to decorate and have my house look attractive, but unfortunately decorating isn’t an area in which I have a lot of talent. One great way to decorate my house without needing a lot of talent is to use vinyl wall art. Vinyl decals are easy to install, look very professional, and are easy to remove if you want to change your theme. I was excited to get the chance to review a decal from A Lucky Horseshoe.
A Lucky Horseshoe has a wide variety of wall art decals available. Many are in nature or horse themes, but the store also has quotes, sports themes and even decals for a laptop. I repainted my son Robert’s room bright blue last summer, but that is as far as the decorating went. So I let Robert help me pick some vinyl wall art from A Lucky Horseshoe for his room, and he chose the Large Tribal Lizard.
When the decal came I was very impressed with how detailed it is, and my son loves the way it looks. It is about 28 x 14 inches, so it really is large. My son and I held it up in various places around his room, and ended up placing it right over his dresser. The vinyl wall art can be ordered in many different colors, but we decided to go with black.
It was very easy to install; you tape the decal to the wall, and begin slowly peeling the backing, smoothing it out with the tool that was supplied with the decal. It was very simple, and for us the only time consuming part was finding a level so we could make sure we didn’t install it crooked. The lizard looks great, and my son is glad to finally have something fun on his walls.
I was also very impressed to find out that the owner is a 14 year old who has started her won business to make money for college! I wish my teens had some of that entrepreneurial spirit. Here are some questions and answers from A Lucky Horseshoe owner:
What is your favorite thing about owning your shop and being a seller?
My favorite thing about owning my shop is the feeling of getting a gift when I get a order.
What inspires you to create such beautiful pieces?
We make things that bring a smile to our face!
Is there anything new you plan to add to your shop?
I have no idea, usually things just pop in my head and I put it in my shop.
