I recently got the chance to try out Pre-fense alcohol free hand sanitizer. It is different from most hand sanitizers on the market, since it is able to provide protection for up to 10 hand washings. That means one application can last all day, and you don’t have to re-apply it all the time. It is designed to adhere to the skin so it provides a proactive antibacterial barrier when it is wet or dry.
I like the fact that you don’t have to re-apply the hand sanitizer every time you wash you hands, since I worry about over using hand sanitizer. In my house we mostly use hand sanitizer when someone is sick or we have been exposed to a germy situation. We also use it a lot when we are camping or having a picnic. When you spray the sanitizer it is kind of foamy, and has nice consistency. Since it doesn’t have alcohol it doesn’t have a strong chemical smell, which is a big plus as far as I am concerned also. The smell is very faint and not noticeable at all. This seems like a great choice for an effective hand sanitizer that doesn’t contain alcohol.
