Are you a fan of Stormchasers? This Discovery Channel series follows teams of Stormchasers in Tornado Alley as they collect tornado data and film the impressive storms. They go through some crazy storms and of course for that kind of weather you have to have top of the line equipment. This new webisode shows how they take their vehicle, the Dominator, into the field. After all the planning and engineering in the lab they want to see how it stands up to the unknowns of a tornado.
The Dominator uses the new ICON wiper blades from Bosch. The ICON wipers are designed without metal or plastic brackets, joints or hinges, so they are an improvement over conventional wiper blades. I hopefully won’t be driving through any tornadoes, but I’d love to have these new wipers for my winter driving. Poor visibility is the worst part of winter driving, and having good wiper blades is critical.
To celebrate the wipers’ release Bosch is holding an amazing contest in which one lucky Facebook fan and a guest will win an experience of a lifetime: an all-expenses-paid, five-night VIP Storm Chasing trip for you and a guest, with Reed Timmer of Discovery Channel’s STORMCHASERS.
