One of the best things about winter is sweaters. I love to wear sweaters that are warm, cozy and look good. Unfortunately not all sweaters meet these criteria. Sometimes cheaper sweaters are made of wool that is scratchy and itchy, which is the worst. Then there are the sweaters that are boxy and make me look even larger than I am! Let’s face it, sweaters add bulk, so if it is not cut right it can be unattractive. I want to wear a sweater that is stylish and feminine, which keeps me warm will still letting me be active and enjoy the winter weather with my children.
So I was happy to review a sweater from Krimson Klover this winter. Krimson Klover is based in Colorodo and provides “Knits With a Twist”, with a collection of fun sweaters which both keep you warm and look great.
The patterns are lively and colorful, without being overwhelming, and the solid color sweaters add interest through the designs and with details like pompoms. All their knitwear is made with ultra fine Merino wool too, so it keeps you nice and warm.
Krimson Klover sent me the Stevie sweater pictured at the left to review. It is a 100% Merino Wool cable knit pullover with a gorgeous neckline. The sweater is amazingly soft and comfortable to wear, and not scratchy at all. Many of the merino wool sweaters I have are very thin, but this one is made of nice thick yarn. I really like the oversized cable knit neckline, since it adds a lot of detail to the solid colored sweater. The picture shows the sweater in Ruby, and it also comes in Charcoal and Denim, which is is the color I received. The sweater looks great with jeans or with a dressier outfit. It is about 24 inches long, which is the best length for me because I like my sweaters to cover my stomach.

The denim blue is a nice mix of colors and the little tassels that hang down add depth and interest. In addition Krimson Klover has many other very cute pieces, including hats, dresses and scarves which are all crafted from natural fibers.
