Since I joined a local gym last fall I’ve found I need to have some decent workout clothes. At first I was just wearing sweatpants and t-shirts, but after a few visits I realized that isn’t ideal. Clothes that are designed for active wear are more breathable and wick moisture away, which makes them much more comfortable to wear. One important thing to consider with sportswear is how you wash it. Normally you don’t want to use fabric softener on sportswear because it can interfere with the wicking properties of the fabric. But Purex Crystals do not contain oil, so you can use them with all laundry including athletic wear.
To let me test how well this works Purex sent me a large bottle of their Purex Crystals Tropical Splash fabric softener and a Jockey Tech Terry Performance Sports Bra. I’ve used the Purex Crystals before, and I like the way they soften and freshen the laundry. The best thing about them as far as I am concerned is that you put them in when you add the detergent and and don’t have to wait for the rinse cycle. The Tropical Splash scent was one I hadn’t tried, and it has a nice floral scent which is a refreshing change from the Spring Water kind I usually buy.
The Sports Bra from Jockey is also very nice. The sizes seem to run small, so I’d advise buying a size larger than you normally do, since my bra was a little tighter than I would have liked. But the fabric is nice and very breathable. The bra provides plenty of support, and has mesh panels for comfort. It even has a key pocket so you don’t have to worry about holding anything during your workout. I usually use the key pocket in my Jockey pants instead, but it still is a nice extra feature to have. I have washed the sports bra with the fabric softener a number of times since I received last month, and it has held up perfectly.
The Purex Crystals keep all my workout wear smelling fresh, which is pretty important when you are talking about gym clothes! My favorite part though is that I don’t have to sort the workout wear out and run a separate load. The less I have to think about laundry the better, so I like being able to use the same products on all my clothes. Right now Purex is offering a special coupon for 20% off Jockey products, which you can get here. The coupon can be redeemed online or at any of their outlet stores, so it is perfect if you need some new workout clothes for keeping those New Year’s Resolutions to exercise more.
Purex has teamed up with Jockey to give away Purex Crystals and Jockey Sports Bra to one of my readers, so you can see how well the two go together.
Entry Method: Please use Rafflecopter form for all entries. This giveaway will end at 11:59 pm on January 29th, open to U.S. only.
Disclosure: I received product to review as part of the Purex Insider program. All opinions are my own.

I would love to try this I have 3 kids and a husband
I just don’t like to hassle with putting laundry away!
My biggest woe is my dryer doesn’t have a timer. By the time I remember to check the clothes, they are wrinkled.

my biggest laundry woe is that the back of the washer hose usually leaks out water. It never did before
Thank you for providing a chance win. My laundry woes are the folding. I have a 4 yr old and a 2 1/2 yr old, try folding clothes when they are around, impossible! They “try” to help and end up causing more work for me. Sometimes I just want to give up, but instead have to just settle with using nap time as my laundry folding time, so anything that I can do to help save me time and money is a blessing :0)
I tell my family that if they have a stain on something, leave it on top of the washing machine so I can pre-treat the stain. I hate when something goes through the wash, and I discover after that it had a stain and the stain is set in from washing.
My laundry woes are grass stains and delicates.

My laundry woe is hubby’s pants with stains, usually from pens, which is tough to remove.
I admit…washing and drying is easy for me…but I really have to push myself to fold clothes and get them put away in a timely manner…otherwise they just end up sitting in a laundry basket on top of the dryer!
It really doesn’t because I don’t do the laundry, hehehe!
i hate folding clothes

My husband is a mechanic & his clothes always smell like oils & greases. I wish his clothes didn’t still smell like that even after washing them.

my woes; 3 kids, 1 nephew, a sister, and a husband not to mention myself —so 2-3 loads EVERY day
The thing I dislike most about doing laundry is putting it away. Everything else I actually enjoy – its relaxing.
I would love to win this so I can wash my linens & bedspread in it! My cats are ALWAYS all over the bed and it would be nice to sleep in a bed that doesn’t smell like cat! LOL!
I wish my family would tell me if they have a nasty stain right away – it’s so much easier to remove when it’s fresh and not dried and set in
I’m super pregnant and bending down to get the laundry is a pain!
Laundry stacks up because I do it for myself, my boyfriend, and our daughter, and can only do it on Tuesdays or Thursdays because I live with his family.
My woe is my laundry never seems to end.
I don’t use purex, but if it works like the other leading brand I will definately switch & use it.

Between my two jobs (outdoor adventure teacher and rock climbing instructor), and my fiance working an office job but training in brazilian jujitsu at night, it is not unusual for me to have to do a load of laundry a day for just two adults. I go through fabric softener like crazy (we don’t use a dryer for clothing)!

I always have a lot of delicates to wash at the end of the week.
I do all the laundry, bring it all upstairs, fold it on the table, and everyone is responsible for putting their piles away, and it just sits there until I get mad.
