Spring Yard Work

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

After the long winter my yard needs lots and lots work!  Every time I walk outside I notice more chores just waiting to be done, and now that the weather has warmed up it is time to get started.  Here are some of the gardening supplies I need this spring:

Of course I also need someone to help me, but luckily I have my teenagers help.  One thing that needs to be done is hauling away all the branches which are all over the lawn.

Cooper Tires Memorable Road Trip Contest

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cooper Tire for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

When it comes to memorable road trips I am sure we all have one we remember (or wish we could forget!)  For me the seven hour trip to college with my Mom, who came down with food poisoning about halfway there, is one that sticks in my mind.  She came along to help with the driving, but we ended up stopping every 20 minutes so she could throw up.  But maybe you have a happier road trip memory, like your newborn’s first car ride home!  Right now Cooper Tire wants to hear your road trip stories for the Cooper Tire’s My Every Day Road Trip Contest. Harmon Stoves and Alternative Heating Methods with a Giveaway

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Harman Stoves for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

When it comes to using energy one of the biggest things is heating!  So chosing a heating method that is efficient and economical is very important. Right now we have a wood stove as the only heat source in our finished basement.  It does a great job of heating the space, but the chores of hauling wood and building and stoking the fire get old very fast.  Many days we don't even bother to start a fire in it, and just bundle up in blankets when we want to go downstairs.

White Cloud: Making Miracles with the Children’s Miracle Network

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of White Cloud for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I always enjoy hearing about companies that give back to the community and help those in need.  My family and I try to give back, especially over the holiday season.  This year we donated toys to our churches Angel Tree and collected food for our local food pantry.  But just because the holidays are over doesn’t mean that we should lose the giving spirit, and we are trying to help all year round.  Companies can do even bigger projects, than families, and that is what White Cloud is doing right now.

Primp and Prep with Hpnotiq

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hpnotiq for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Untitled-6
I have been checking out the new Primp & Prep site from Hpnotiq, and it is cool!  It is an online site full of everything that you need to have a great time out on the town.  You can find hot new cocktail recipes, fashion and beauty tips, gossip and music.

I think the site is a great idea, because I don’t always have time to stay on top of the latest trends.  Fashion and beauty changes fast, and when I have the chance to go out for a fun girl’s night the last thing I want to worry about is whether or not I am wearing the right kind of shoes!  A quick check through the site lets me make sure I know what is going on, and stay on top of trends.
