Every year my kids and I like to create a Holiday food craft, and this year we made a Cookie Christmas tree and decorated it with candy.
The tree is made out of nested star cookies in graduated sizes which are then stacked up to make a tree shape. I frosted the cookies with white icing to give them a snow covered look, and then used royal icing to secure the Sixlets and Shimmer Stars to the tree.
Decorating the tree was a little frustrating, because the candy was so small. We worked from the bottom up, and it was easy for us to knock a lower row off as we added the candy. But we persevered, and the final result was worth the effort! I love the clean look of the blue, white and silver candy, and this makes a great centerpiece for our dining room table.
I would bake something with them and eat them too!
I’d put it in a candy dish and let everyone have at it! 🙂 Thanks.
I’d want to use them on my husbands bday cake
I would use some to decorate a cake and cookies then eat the rest
I would share with my family and just eat it
Id share amongst the family and we’d eat it all.
I would use it in cookies and other baking. Thanks for the giveaway!
I would use my candy to decorate cupcakes. I love sixlets so I would have to hide a few of those.
I would be a pig and eat it all…just me, myself and I. And I’m serious!!!!
I would share it with family
I would eat it and share it with my grandkids
I would share some to eat with my family and use some to decorate with.
We would share it with the family and eat it all…..
I would just eat it all.
I’d put it in pretty glass vases and let everyone help themselves.
Thanks for the contest.
