Who is an inspiring woman in your family? Is it your mom, your grandmother, or maybe a niece or cousin? In my family my younger sister is one of the most inspiring women that I know. My sister Beth decided to head back to college at 35 with the goal of becoming a doctor. She had a successful career as a Social Worker, but she despite that she decided it was time to follow her dream and pursue medicine.
The road to becoming a doctor is a long and difficult journey, and it is even more difficult when you are not fresh out of college and have a family and all the obligations that brings. It took her 12 long years, but she is now a Neurologist, with a thriving practice. She proves that you can’t listen to doubters and that it is never too late to find your passion.
I’m going to vote for my mom. I don’t know how she we able to do everything she did with 4 children!
My mum is also the most inspiring woman ever! The energy she has for her kids and her grandchildren surpasses my energy!
My mom is the most inspiring person I know. She’s been through so much yet still still holds her head up high.
That’s wonderful about your sister! My Mom is the most inspiring for me because she dedicated her life to being a teacher and a mom and helping others. She had the most beautiful, generous heart I could imagine.
My Grandma is the most inspiring woman in my life. She is true beauty inside and out!!
What an inspiration! I can’t imagine going back to school and having homework to do, so I am in awe of her willingness to tackle medical school!
That’s so amazing that your sister didn’t listen to all the nay-sayers and pursued a dream career like that! I can see how you find her so inspiring 🙂
