Do you have big plans for the New Year? Last year we went to First Night in Saratoga Springs, but this year we are staying home for a quiet family evening of playing games. And we are going to end the night with our favorite drink – Rootbeer Floats for everyone while we ring in the New Year!

We are having dinner with good friends! Last year we had a party but this year we decided to keep is simple and quiet. None of our kids have plans, either, so that means I will be able to sleep!

Sounds like a nice fun, but quiet, New Years. In our home we always have a dinner of different appetizers and we watch Holiday Inn. Neither of us is a big party person, so we always welcome it at home just the two of us.
