Making lunches for school can be a challenge! Even though I homeschool my kids there are many days when we need to make a brown bag lunch, since we attend weekly classes and go on field trips. My lunch packing is more challenging because my kids are not big fans of sandwiches.  In fact my daughter Eleanor won’t eat recipes with bread at all. She does however like lunch meat and yogurt. So we made Pastrami Cheese Rollups along with a Yogurt Fruit Parfait for a perfect portable lunch.
I headed to my local Price Chopper to pick up lunch supplies, and came home with Yoplait Greek Yogurt, Honey Nut Cheerios, Hillshire Farms Pastrami, Provolone Cheese, raspberries and blueberries. There are many lunch solutions to pick from at Price Chopper, and the prices are always great. The fruit was even on sale buy one get one free, which was nice, because I always like it when I can find savings on healthy fruit.
The Pastrami Rollups are very easy to make. We simply stack 2 slices of Pastrami alternated with 2 slices of cheese and roll them up lengthwise. These provide the sandwich makings without the bread. My son will eat bread, but he prefers the rollups to a sandwich too!
The Yogurt Parfait is layers of Yoplait Greek Vanilla Yogurt alternated with fruit, and all topped off with crushed Honey Nut Cheerios. The Cheerios provide a little crunch to the yogurt, and add some sweetness too.
The whole lunch fits easily into a small little lunch bag, and will satisfy my picky eaters! #PriceChopperB2S #CollectiveBias

I love Greek Yogurt! And I make parfait on a regular basis! I have never added Cherrios. I always added Granola. It is a nice twist
