We had a Family Night fun get together to eat pizza and cupcakes and watch the movie.
In addition to the movie there is a cool free Web Slinger App that you can download. This app allows you to star in your very own Spider-Man comic. Plus if you head to Walmart you can use the app at trigger points in the store to activate additional pages of this exclusive comic and complete your story. So we downloaded the Web Slinger app onto my android tablet and my kids and I headed to Walmart to get party supplies and play with the app.
We found a trigger point in the video section, with a big Spider-Man display and a large red spider. My daughter activated the app and scanned the poster to get more comic book pages. We found another trigger point in the Marketside deli area, and picked up some pizza while we were there.
Once we got home we used the app to take my son’s picture, and then created his custom comic book. It turned out awesome, and my son is thrilled to be starring in his very own comic book.
I know several little spiderman fans – they’d love to celebrate like this 🙂
