Sparkling Clean with Cascade Complete

I think dishwashers are one of the most useful inventions ever!  I hate washing dishes, and letting the dishwasher do most of the work for me is wonderful.  But if the dishwasher doesn’t work well and leaves spots or dried on food then it doesn’t do much good, which is why I wanted to try new Cascade Complete pacs.

I have used Cascade action pacs in my dishwasher for years.  I don’t like powder or gel dishwasher soap, because it tends to stay caked in the dispenser and not dissolve in our hard water.  Additionally my children usually are the ones to start and run the dishwasher, and they would always use too much detergent or too little.  With the convenient pacs they just stick one in the dispenser and don’t have to measure anything.

But the Cascade Complete pacs are new to me, and they are designed to scrub away tough food without pre-rinsing.  They have the grease fighting power of Dawn, and can cut through layers of food residue.  My kids are in charge of loading the dishwasher, and to say that they are not good at rinsing dishes would be an understatement.  My 16 year old is especially bad at this, and I don’t think she has ever seen a plate she thinks needed rinsing!  She once dumped half a colander full of spaghetti into the dishwasher, because she didn’t notice it had anything in it. She is a little more careful since she had to pick all the spaghetti out of the bottom of the dishwasher, but not much.

So detergent that eliminates the need for pre-rinsing and works extra hard to remove dried on food is perfect for us. I like the ease of use of the Cascade Complete pacs, and I like having dishes that are spotless and clean.  In addition over time, Cascade Complete Pacs fight hard water film two-times better, wash after wash, than the next leading premium pac. Our water is very hard, so I am looking forward to seeing this improvement as we continue to use the Cascade Complete pacs.
