I have suffered from seasonal allergies since I was a child.  When I was younger I had to take prescription allergy medication, but so much more allergy medicine is available over the counter now that I no longer need a prescription, which is great.  My hay fever is mostly in the spring, from the beginning of May until the beginning of July.  I get a stuffed up nose, and sneezing, but the worst thing of all for me is the watery eyes.  My eyes sting and water, and it is awful!  Of course this is also the prime spring gardening season, so I have lots of things to do outdoors, and staying inside is not an option.
