If your kids are anything like mine they create lots of art.  And one great thing to do at the end of the school year is to pick one of their best works from the year and frame it for hanging on the wall.  Sure, it is fine to stick pictures up on the refrigerator, but it is nice to take special pieces and do something more permanent with them.  I doesn’t have to be museum quality work to be worthy of displaying.  My mom did this too, she framed a series of finger paintings I did in Kindergarten, and a snowman picture my sister made in elementary school.  Now when my kids go to visit Grandma they can see that they are far more talented artists than their mother!
