My son spent the weekend at Watkins Glen with his Boy Scout troop enjoying some racing.
It rained on and off all weekend, so the track was slippery, and they saw a number of wrecks.
The let the kids go down into the pit area between races and see the cars up close, which was a big hit.

My brother and nephews think car racing is dynamite. I’ve been to one minor race that my brother was driving in, and it was fun, but too loud for me to go on a regular basis!
