💭How to Store and Reheat

Store leftover ham steak in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. To reheat it, cook it at 350 degrees F for 2-3 minutes.

It is also delicious cold or used in another ham recipe. My favorite leftover ham recipes are crock pot ham and potato soup or ham and cheese muffins.

⭐Tips and Variations

Be sure to check out the step by step instructions

  • Pineapple slices or rings can be used instead of chunks.
  • If you don’t have maple syrup replace it with brown sugar.
  • Try to pick a thickly cut ham steak. Reduce the cooking time by 2-3 minutes for thin slices.
  • You can skip the fruit on top of the meat, but don’t skip the brown sugar glaze. It adds flavor and helps keep the meat from drying out.
  • Use a pastry brush to spread the homemade glaze on air fryer ham steaks.
