🍕Simple Ingredients
For exact amounts needed see the recipe card below
Refrigerated biscuits – Biscuits with flaky layers are easier to pull apart to make the crust. I like Pillsbury Grands for these snacks.
Pizza sauce – Use a jar of sauce or your own homemade pizza sauce. Spaghetti sauce also works if it is all you have!
Cheese – I use mozzarella cheese since it is the traditional pizza cheese. But other varieties work well, too, like cheddar cheese, feta cheese, or goat cheese.
Toppings – Pick your favorites! I used classic pepperoni and bell pepper. Check out other topping suggestions below.
🥣How to Make Air Fryer Biscuit Pizzas
1. Prepare the Biscuits
Half of a biscuit makes the best crust thickness. Peel apart the flaky layers and divide each biscuit in half. Then flatten each piece of biscuit to make a 4-inch circle.
2. Add Toppings
Adding the toppings with the crusts in the air fryer is much easier. I have tried making these on a cutting board and moving them over, and toppings always fall off!
Start by putting parchment paper in the air fryer or spraying it with nonstick cooking spray. Don’t use a commercial spray oil, since it can damage the finish on the basket. I prefer parchment paper, and you can buy sheets that are perforated and precut to fit in the air fryer basket.
Place the dough circles into the air fryer, making sure not to overcrowd the basket. These cook so fast that making multiple batches takes little effort!
Add the pizza sauce, spreading about 1 tablespoon of sauce on each pizza crust. Then add other toppings such as pepperoni and green peppers. Don’t overload it with toppings!
Finally, sprinkle the cheese on top. The cheese should be heavy enough not to blow around the air fryer, and as it melts, it will anchor all the other toppings in place.
3. Air Fry the Mini Pizzas
Air fry the biscuit pizzas at 400 degrees F for 4 minutes. This is long enough to cook the biscuits, melt the cheese and combine all the flavors into a tasty personal pizza.
When they are done, the edges of the crust should be golden brown, and the cheese will just be starting to brown on top. Let them rest for 1 minute in the basket, then use a spatula to take them out and serve.
4. Make Another Batch
Keep making air fryer mini pizzas until you run out of biscuit dough. When you make an additional batch keep in mind that the air fryer basket will be hot, so wear oven mitts or be careful not to touch the sides when adding toppings.
Since the air fryer will be warm, cook the subsequent batches for 3 minutes, then check to see if they need an additional minute of cooking time.

- cooked Italian sausage
- ham or other lunch meat
- pineapple chunks
- leftover cooked chicken
- bacon

- black olives
💭How to Store
Refrigerator biscuits don’t keep well once the package is open, so it works well to use them all. Once the extras are cool, place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will keep for 3 days.
To reheat, put them back in the air fryer and cook at 350 degrees F for 2 minutes. These reheated pizzas are great to have on hand for a quick snack time.
⭐Tips for Making the Best Air Fryer Mini Pizzas
Be sure to check out the step by step instructions
- Only use half of a biscuit for each crust. A whole biscuit will be too thick and end up soggy in the middle.
- Use parchment paper or nonstick spray on the air fryer basket.
- Adding the toppings with the crusts inside the basket is much easier.
- Don’t use too many toppings! These are mini pizzas, so add just a few toppings to each.
