❓Should I Air Fry Turkey Wings Whole?

Turkey wings are almost always sold whole. And they can be air fried whole or split into pieces before cooking.

Like chicken wings, they have three parts, the drummette, the flat, and the wing tip. To separate them, use a sharp knife to cut through the joints to pull the pieces apart. Most people discard the wing tip.

Splitting them apart isn’t difficult, and they will cook more evenly and brown better if they are separated.

🥣How to Make Air Fryer Turkey Wings

  1. Split (optional) – Split the wings into the flat and drummette by cutting through the elbow joint.
  2. Season – Place the wings in a medium size bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Then add the Cajun seasoning.
  3. Air Fry – Air fry at 360 degrees F for 13 minutes.
  4. Flip – Flip the wings over and air fry for another 13 minutes.
  5. Test – Use an instant-read thermometer to verify the wings have reached 165 degrees F internally.

  • Keep the wings in a single layer without stacking.
  • They will cook faster if you separate the drummettes from the flat.
