Our cat Soda has mellowed out quite a bit as he has gotten older. As a kitten he was a playful, but then he became quite stand offish and didn’t like to snuggle or be petted. Now he will tolerate a little bit of snuggling, especially from my daughter Eleanor, who is his favorite.
My daughter Eleanor was willing to try to cat beard with Soda. This is a cute idea in which you pose your cat under your nose like a beard. Cats, cameras and the internet make a perfect combination, at least if your cat will cooperate! Sadly cooperation is not one of Soda’s strong points. We tried bribing him with cat treats.
But he was only marginally interested in becoming a beard, even if treats were involved.
Eleanor was able to get him close, but not quite in the right position before he completely lost interest and went to hide.
Our cat loves Fresh Step! I love that they are using essential oils, as long as your cat doesn’t mind them! I do know that some really irritate cats, but hopefully the ones they use won’t! I also like that stretchy handle!!
You have such a beautiful cat!! I love fresh step liter! And we did cat bearding with the kids the other day and they loved it. Then the husband saw their pictures so he had to try it. Then he tried it with the DOG! lol That was hilarious!

Soda is beautiful! Our cats won’t stand for cat-bearding, but I force them on occasion! 😉
