Wordless Wednesday – Pets in the Snow
My daughter is babysitting her roommate’s bunny for Christmas break, so we have extra pets in the house now. And we have lots and lots of snow!
The kids are having fun with a new playmate, and enjoy taking him out to hop around in the snow. We are at 22 inches of snow for the season, which is way too much considering it is not even officially winter for a few more days!

Free Printable Christmas Holiday Planner
It is hard to believe that Christmas is only 3 weeks away! Are you ready? I have barely started planning, but I am working on it this week. To help out you (and me) I have a free printable Holiday planner for getting all your lists organized.
It is important to plan things out for the holidays, so you know what you can afford to spend. I always try to have about the same number of gifts for each kid too, which takes some planning. One of my daughters is getting a new phone this year, which is expensive. So I need to get a bunch of smaller gifts for her to even things out so she still has presents to unwrap.
Halloween Treats with Sheba Cat Food

With Halloween approaching my kids and I decided it would be fun to dress him up for Halloween! At 14 and 17 my kids aren’t planning to dress up this year, but they loved the idea of costumes for the pets.
Watkins Glen State Park in Finger Lakes of New York
When I hear Watkins Glen the first thing that pops into my mind is NASCAR and racing! But it turns out the town of Watkins Glen, NY also has an amazing State Park that is well worth a visit. Actually I think it is way more interesting than auto racing, although my son might disagree. We visited Watkins Glen State Park recently and spent the day exploring the trails and waterfalls.
