Cranberry Sangria

The holidays celebrations mean holiday cocktails!  And one of the easiest holiday cocktails to make is Sangria, because you can make it ahead of time and chill it until the party starts.  I made this Cranberry Orange Sangria with white wine for one of our holiday celebrations.

Two glasses of cranberry juice with sugared cranberries in them.

The Cranberry Orange Sangria is pretty easy to make.  I boiled some cranberries with sugar to make a sweet cranberry flavored syrup, and then drained it off.  Then I combined the cranberry syrup with some white wine, more cranberries, some cinnamon sticks and an orange.

I have one holiday gathering in particular that this would be a real hit at – and I want to be the one bringing it. I am saving this recipe and getting all my ingredients together. My girlfriends are going to LOVE this, and I am geeked that it’s a make ahead drink too.
