🎃Topping Ideas
It is easy to change up this recipe and add your favorite candies! Some other fun toppings are Halloween M&Ms, peanut butter cups, chopped-up candy bar pieces, edible candy eyeballs, cookie pieces, or mini marshmallows.
Dried fruit like cranberries or raisins makes an excellent addition. Or use potato chips or salty nuts like pistachios or peanuts instead of pretzels.
🥣How to Make Halloween Candy Bark
1. Melt Chocolate
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside. Then put the orange melts in a microwave-safe bowl and the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl.
Microwave the orange melts in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval until it is smooth and completely melted. Do the same thing with the bowl of white chocolate chips.
2. Spread Chocolate
Drop spoonfuls of the orange candy onto the prepared baking sheet. Then add the white melted chocolate in between. Use a spatula to spread the mixture into a thin layer on the cookie sheet. Use a knife to make swirls with the colors.
3. Add Toppings
Gently press the pretzels and candy corn into the layer of chocolate. Then add some sprinkles or whatever extra toppings you like to the bark. Put the baking sheet in the fridge for about 30 minutes to harden.
Take the sheet out and break the bark into pieces to serve.
💭How to Serve and Store
This festive treat is perfect for a Halloween party! Package up the pieces in a snack bag to give as party favors! If there are leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a few days.
