One key to being able to get dinner ready quickly is having an organized refrigerator. It is frustrating to have to empty half the refrigerator to find something you know is there, somewhere. A disorganized refrigerator leads to wasted time and wasted food.

Refrigerator Organization Tips
1. Put Most Fruit and Vegetables in Separate Drawers
Fruits do best with low humidity, so put them in the drawer designed especially for that. The only exception is fragile fruit like berries, which should be stored on a shelf where you will see it and remember to use it quickly. Vegetables need higher humidity, so they should go in the high humidity drawer.
2. Keep Meat Together
Meat should be kept together in the coldest part of the refrigerator, which is usually the lowest shelf. Using the lowest shelf has the added benefit that if the meat does leak juices it won’t contaminate the entire refrigerator contents.
3. Keep Condiments and Drinks in the Door
The door is the warmest part of the refrigerator, so it makes sense to store the things there that will stay fresh the longest. Nice wide door shelves are perfect for storing orange juice or soda. Smaller shelves can keep ketchup and mustard easy to find.
4. Put Leftovers at Eye Level
My family will eat leftovers if they think of it. So if they open the refrigerator and last night’s pork ribs are sitting right in front of them they will eat them. But if they are behind the mayonnaise and butter they will ignore them. So put leftovers right up front, where everyone will see them and want to eat them.
5. Clean the Refrigerator Regularly
In even the most neatly organized refrigerator things get pushed to the back or moved around. It is very easy for something to get buried in a drawer and overlooked. So clean the refrigerator out quickly every two weeks to make sure it stays organized.

How Does it Keep Food Fresh Longer?
The new innovative FarmFresh System™ uses four freshness technologies to keep food fresher, longer.
- Food is affected by both temperature and humidity, so the VitaFreshPro™ has preset settings to automatically balance both.
- Produce stays fresh longer because FreshProtect™ absorbs naturally occurring ethylene which slows ripening.
- Cool, fresh air is evenly circulated with the MultiAirFlow™. This helps maintain consistent temperatures throughout the entire refrigerator.
- The refrigerator will stay fresh smelling since the AirFresh® Filter absorbs even the toughest food odors.
