I recently started going to the Asian food market in town every few weeks, and I have been enjoying finding new things to make. This week I want to try rice cake, which is a chewy, soft Chinese noodle that is sliced into sections that is pictured on the left.Â It is usually served stir fried with vegetables.Â I have had it at restaurants before, but thought it would be fun to try at home.
This week I got my menu planning done and then realized that Lent starts Wednesday.Â So I ended up shifting meals around so we were meatless on Wednesday and Friday.Â It seems a little early to be thinking about Lent and Easter!
Monday– Laska Curry Noodles

Thursday-Broccoli and Sausage Pasta
Friday–Chinese Rice Cake Stir Fry
