Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a film? Here is a great chance to find out, since on May 2nd there will be a live, all-text Talk on The Motherhood, called Let’s Go Behind the Scenes with Otter 501 Filmmakers. Otter 501 is a documentary that is being released in less than 2 weeks which follows the life a rescued sea otter, Otter 501.
We will be talking about how the film was made, where the idea for the story came from, the important message it delivers about protecting otters and our oceans, and ways you can get your kids interested in science and conservation. I had a chance to watch the film over the weekend with my family, and it was interesting and educational. The scenery was amazing, and I am curious to learn more about how they were able to get such fantastic close up shots of animals in the wild.
