The closest Ikea to us is about 5 hours away, so while we were taking a vacation last week we took the opportunity to visit the Baltimore one. We only go about once every two years, so while it might be no big deal for some people, for us an Ikea trip is an event.
The total amount of stuff availablein the store is overwhelming. My 13 year old was excited to get new lamps for her dresser, and they even made it home without getting broken.
My 17 year old had to make an excruciating decision – what color desk chair should she get? Predictably, after minutes of agonizing she ended up picking boring black.
Here is the car loaded up with all our stuff, luckily the seats fold down. Now that we are home we have to put together a desk and desk chair, and hang up some curtains.
