Pinewood Derby Victory
My son won 1st place in his cub scout pack at the pinewood derby on Saturday! He was very excited, and here is is winning car, with the trophy and ribbon. They got nice trophies this year, I guess one of the Dad’s has a metal shop and helped the kids make the trophies.

Peacocks running wild
Our neighbor has peacocks, and we see them wandering around our yard all the time. A few days ago we finally saw one with its feathers up. We couldn’t get too close, but here are the pictures. They are huge!
Christmas Tree
Here is this year’s tree. We got a bunch of red ornaments on clearance last year, so there is a lot of red on the tree this year. The elf ornament is one of my favorite I made a few years ago, and my daughter made the beaded snowflake.
