I was provided an all expense paid trip by Disney to attend the premiere of this film. All opinions are my own.
I just returned from a whirlwind four day trip to Los Angles, and can’t wait to share all the details with you. One of the highlights was attending the Delivery Man red carpet premiere at the legendary El Capitan Theatre.
The experience of actually walking the red carpet was surreal!
There were screaming crowds behind barricades, photographers, bright lights, security = all in all it was overwhelming! I did manage to get a great red carpet picture, thanks to my friend Liza from Views from the Ville.
Of course there were also lots and lots of celebrities on the red carpet. Chris Pratt, Cobie Smulders and Vince Vaughn are the stars of the film, and they looked amazing.
I also was able to interview all three during my trip, and they were extremely friendly and open. It was great to see how they interacted with fans who had waited to see them.
Once we were inside the El Capitan Theatre the excitement continued!
The interior of the theatre is lavishly decorated in old fashioned style, with velvet curtains and ornate carvings. We were seated right down front, and while we waited for the movie to start we were entertained with live pipe organ music.
The film was fantastic! I will have a full review later this month, right before the November 22nd release date. It was very touching, and has a great message about the importance of family and being true to yourself.
After the movie there was an after party at the Hard Rock Cafe. There was a nice buffet full of food, and the stars of the movie were mingling and talking with the crowd. All in all the night was an amazing experience, and something I will remember for years to come.
