Tropical Traditions Coconut comes in shredded, flake, and chip varieties. I chose the coconut chips for this review and giveaway because it is so easy to grab and eat them right out of the bucket. I took a picture of the coconut chips next to some coconut flakes, so you can see the size difference.
The coconut chips are the perfect size for snacking. I can mix them with nuts and chocolate chips, for a quick trail mix. They also look great on top of a cake as a quick and easy decoration. Plus if I need smaller coconut flakes I can just put them in the food processor, and pulse them until they are smaller. All of Tropical Traditions coconut is 100% natural made from organic dried coconuts in the Philippines that are grown with no fertilizers or pesticides. And they have no additives, preservatives, or sweetener – just pure coconut.
Tropical Traditions has a great selection of recipes on their website. We made the Chocolate Coconut Peanut Butter No-Bakes a few days ago, using a combination of the coconut chips and coconut flakes. They were delicious, and my husband said they tasted like Mounds Bars. I was going to take a picture of them to add to the post, but the kids finished them off after lunch!
The giveaway has ended, but you can still visit Tropical Traditions to get some Organic Coconut Chips.
