Wine makes an excellent Christmas gift! I recently had the chance to receive a shipment from Uncorked Ventures wine club, to try out the variety of wines they offer.
I like wine clubs because I don’t know that much about wine. It gets boring drinking the same wine every week, but when I go in a liquor store I am just overwhelmed by all the selections! With wine club experts pick out wine for me each month, and they select high scoring wines that I would probably never find on my own. Plus it is delivered right to my door, so it couldn’t be easier.
Uncorked Adventures Exploration Wine Club features two wines every month, a red and white. It includes highly rated wines from the vineyards of California, Oregon and Washington’s best wine producers. They pride themselves on spending time in wine country, getting to know winemakers and vineyard owners, so they have access to the best wine.
Both wines I received were from North Coast wineries. The red wine was Edge Cabernet Savuvignon, and it was very good. It was a rich wine with a nice hearty flavor. The wine wine was Sola Chardonnay. This is a delicious wine with nice floral and citrus notes. I liked the red wine better, but I usually do!
The Explorations Wine Club costs $40 a shipment, and you get to select how often you receive a shipment. You can sign for every month, every other month, quarterly, or just for a single shipment to try it out. They also offer a variety of other wine clubs, featuring more expensive special selections. A wine club membership would make an excellent Holiday present for one of those hard to buy for people on your list!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
I love wine. Therefore, I am definitely going to have to check them out.
We love a good wine. Hubby prefers red and I prefer white. This sounds like a fun club.
This would be a great gift ! My friend is part of a champagne club too. I’d really love that one!
Wine does make a wonderful gift – anytime! I think if anyone asks me what I want this year, I will in fact ask for wine… it’s one of those things a girl should always have on hand 😉
I wouldn’t mind doing that on a quarterly basis at all. It sounds like a great way to taste new flavors!
I love trying new wines. This wine club sounds like something I would really enjoy.
I love wine, and this might just be that perfect gift.
In little some points, i opposite. I like wine and every day after office work I drink the wine. I drink the wine because i got some benefits like 1 stress relief 2 loss weight and active. In my era, there is a small wine club and its membership fee is too low. I daily to go
Reminds me of when Neil and I went to Mexico in college. We got some wine, a Cuban cigar and almonds for a romantic sunset on the beach. The wine and the cigar were TERRIBLE, but we were bound and determined to say that we had done this, so we’d take a puff and a sip then wash out the taste with the almonds.Stellar Bottles
