Thanksgiving Side Dish
EASY MAKE AHEAD SALAD
This classic salad is an easy make ahead side dish that looks tastes amazing and looks elegant! This makes it perfect to bring along to Thanksgiving dinner.
Layers – 1/2 head lettuce – 6 hard boiled eggs – 8 slices bacon, cooked – 1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes – 1/2 cup red onion – 1 cup frozen peas, thawed – 2 cups shredded cheddar Dressing – 1/2 cup mayonnaise – 1/2 cup sour cream – 1 tablespoon sugar – salt and pepper to taste
Fill a large bowl with lettuce, then add sliced hard boiled eggs around the edges.
Crumble the bacon and spread it on top.
Halve the cherry tomatoes and put them on top of the bacon.
Sprinkle on the chopped onions, followed by the peas.
Add a layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, salt and pepper.
Spread the dressing on top. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. You can make it up two 2 days ahead of time!
