PREP TIME: 15 MIN
– 3-4 green tomatoes – 1/2 cup flour, salt & pepper – 1 egg – 1/2 cup cornmeal – 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
COOK TIME: 10 MIN
Slice the tomatoes and pat them dry.
1) flour, salt & pepper, 2) bread crumbs & cornmeal 3) beaten egg
Dip a slice in the bowl of flour.
Then dip in the egg followed by the bread crumb mixture.
Spray the coated green tomato slices with oil.
Put the slices in the air fryer basket and air fry at 400 F for 5 minutes.
Flip them over and air fry for another 3-5 minutes.
Dip them in your favorite sauce! I love to use sriracha mayonnaise.
