Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Make bacon wrapped water chestnuts for a tasty appetizer. Water chestnuts are wrapped in bacon and coated with a sticky sweet sauce.

Marinate the canned water chestnuts in soy sauce for 30 minutes so they are salty and full of flavor.

Cut slices of thin cut bacon in half horizontally.  Add a marinated water chestnut to each half piece of bacon.

Wrap the bacon around the water chestnut, covering most of it. Fasten it all together with a toothpick.

Make a simple sweet sauce from brown sugar, ketchup and Worchestershire sauce for added deliciousness. 

Coat the water chestnuts in sauce. As they cook the sauce will caramelize and make them taste amazing.

Bake or air fry the bite sized appetizers until the bacon is crisp. These are perfect for your next party!
