Blueberry Galette 

Fresh juicy blueberries are baked in a crisp and flaky crust for an open faced dessert that tastes delicious, looks impressive and can be made in less than 30 minutes!

This dessert is also called blueberry crostata and is a rustic open faced blueberry pie!

Ingredients

pie crust blueberries sugar cornstarch lemon butter egg decorative sugar

In a bowl mix the berries with the sugar, cornstarch, lemon zest and half the lemon juice. Stir in the butter.

STEP 1

Unroll the pie crust on a baking sheet. Put the filling in the middle of the unrolled pie crust, leaving an inch and a half edge clear.

STEP 2

Gently fold up the edge of the pie crust to cover the filling, pinching it as you fold it.

STEP 2

Brush the edges of the dough with beaten egg and sprinkle with sparkling sugar.

STEP 4

Bake for 20 minutes, until the berries are bubbly and the crust is brown.
