Candy Corn Sugar Cookies

These easy sugar cookies have candy corn baked inside and sprinkled on top for sweet flavored goodness.

Ingredients butter brown sugar white sugar egg vanilla extract heavy cream flour baking soda salt cornstarch candy corn

With a mixer combine the butter, white sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Then add the egg, vanilla and heavy cream.

Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch. Add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl and mix to form the cookie dough.

Scoop out a tablespoon of dough, roll it into a ball and flatten it on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

Add candy corn on top of the dough. Then flatten another dough ball and press it over the top of the candy corn.

Bake the cookies in a 350 F oven. When they are done add 3-4 pieces of candy corn on top of the hot cookies.
