A shortbread crust is topped off with a rich coconut and chocolate layer!

EASY DESSERT

Crust – 2 cups flour – 1 cup brown sugar – 1 cup butter Filling – 1/2 cup flour – 1/4 cup brown sugar – 3 eggs – 1 can sweetened condensed milk – 2 teaspoons vanilla – 1/4 cup butter – 1 cup chocolate chips – 4 cups shredded coconut

INGREDIENTS 

STEP 1

To make the crust melt the butter and mix it with the flour and brown sugar until thick.

Press the dough into a parchment paper lined pan and bake for 12-15 minutes.

While the crust cools mix the eggs, flour, brown sugar, condensed milk and vanilla for the filling.

Stir in melted butter, chocolate chips and most of the coconut.

Pour the filling over the baked crust in the baking pan.

Sprinkle the remaining coconut on top. Bake for another 30 minutes.

Once it has cooled use the parchment paper to lift it out of the pan and cut it into squares.
