HOMEMADE APPLESAUCE

Make homemade applesauce this fall! It is quick, simple, delicious and tastes so much better than store bought!

For homemade applesauce all you need is apples, cinnamon and water. No added sugar needed!

Peel the apples if you want. Or just core them and cut them into chunks.

Put the apples in a pressure cooker or big pot, along with cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon and add water.

Cook them on high pressure for 5 minutes or on the stove for 15-20 minutes.

Mash them with a potato masher or immersion blender, depending on the texture you enjoy.

Stir in some white or brown sugar if you like your homemade applesauce extra sweet.

Eat the homemade applesauce while warm or refrigerate it for up to 1 week.

Homemade applesauce is the perfect easy side dish for fall!
