Lazy Day Peach Cobbler - An Easy Summer Dessert

Add 1/2 cup butter to your skillet or baking pan and put it in the oven to melt.

Mix the 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, 3 t. baking powder and 1/4 t. salt in a bowl.

Add 2/3 cup milk and stir it in to form a thick batter.

Drop the batter in the skillet on top of the melted butter. Don't spread it out or mix it with the butter, just drop spoonfuls in the skillet.

Put fresh, frozen or canned (drained) peaches on top of the batter. There is no need to mix them in.

Bake at 375 degrees F for about 35 minutes, until the cobbler is brown on top and not mushy in the middle.

As the cobbler bakes the peaches will sink down into the batter.

This lazy day cobbler is best served warm and is extra tasty topped with ice cream or whipped cream!
