Lazy Peach Cobbler

Fresh peaches are the ultimate summer fruit! Turn them into a lazy peach cobbler when you want flavor with less effort.

This lazy peach cobbler recipe uses pantry staples and is something you can make with very little effort.

Melt butter in a cast iron skillet or baking pan.

Slice the peaches if using fresh and drain them if using canned. There is no need to do anything for frozen peaches!

Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and salt with some milk to make a thick batter.

Drop the batter in the skillet on top of the melted butter. Just plop it down in clumps, you don't have to mix it.

Put the peaches on top. Spread them out but don't mix them in. Bake for 35 minutes until the top is golden brown.

As the lazy peach cobbler bakes the fruit sinks down into the batter for a delicious sweet treat!
