APPLE PIE

LAZY APPLE PIE

This is filled with tasty fall apples in a flaky pie crust for a simple rustic dessert you can make without much effort!

INGREDIENTS

– pie crust, either store bought or homemade – 4 apples – 1/2 cup sugar – 3 Tbs flour – 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon or apple pie spice

Step 1

Roll out the crust. Make it about 12 inches in size. Don't worry about making it perfectly circular, this is a free form dessert!

Step 2

Peel and slice the apples. Toss them with sugar and cinnamon.

Step 3

Pile the apples in the middle of the crust. Leave 2 inches empty around the edges.

Step 4

Turn the edges up, folding as needed. Bake at 375 F for 45 minutes.

Serve with a scoop of ice cream or caramel sauce for a simple dessert that looks fancy!
