Holiday side dish

This classic salad is a delicious make ahead side dish! Serve this classic salad for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner!

Layers lettuce hard boiled eggs cooked bacon cherry tomatoes red onion frozen peas, thawed shredded cheddar cheese Dressing mayonnaise sour cream sugar salt and pepper

Fill a large bowl with lettuce, then add sliced hard boiled eggs around the edges. Press the eggs up against the sides of bowl of an elegant look.

Crumble the cooked bacon and spread it on top of the lettuce. Then add a layer of  sliced cherry tomatoes.

Layer 5 is sliced red onions. That is followed by a layer of thawed green peas. The variety of color makes it so pretty!

Finally, top off the all veggie layers with layer #7, a generous layer of shredded cheddar cheese. So tasty!

Whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, salt and pepper in a bowl.  Pour it on top and put it in the fridge for 4 hours before serving.
