We have a bumper crop of apples from our trees this year.

Apples from our Tree

We picked half of them this week from our two trees, and we have bags and bags, so I guess I am making apple sauce this week!

Even our dog got in on the fun of picking, and munched on a few that hit the ground.

  1. Yum! We have a ton of apples on our trees as well, the deer have been eating them like crazy 🙂 I hope they leave some for me since I am finally getting my new range this weekend and can bake again!

  2. I think our apple picking season is just about over. I only got a huge bag that we picked and made apple sauce out of it this year. If I had a freezer I would have picked more and made apple pie filling and froze it like I did the cherry pie filling.

  3. So fun! I can’t even imagine how many apples you’d get picking your own – we went picking once in Arizona and brought home like 15lbs! It was incredibly easy to pick a lot…and if it was on our property…oh man!
