We live on a rural road, and all the mailboxes are on one side of the street – our side. This means we have 4 mailboxes in our front yard. Of course this shouldn’t be a big deal, since most people have normal looking mailboxes, like these:

Ours is a little more rural too and people drive pretty fast on our road and often hit our neighbors mailbox. Sometimes they can go weeks without even picking it up – the mailman just walks their mail to their door.
oh good grief, I could not look at that eye sore. I think I’d just buy them a new mailbox and replace the old one without telling them.
