My family and I had the chance to visit the Oneida Community Mansion House a few weeks ago. It is a fabulous old building, that was the headquarters for the utopian Oneida Community in the late 1800s. The Community only lasted about 30 years before it disbanded and morphed into a silverware company.
The interior has lots of antiques and tapestries, and quite a bit on the history and unusual beliefs of the Community, who believed in the abandonment of the self for the good of the whole. Now it is a combination apartment house, guest house, museum and community meeting center all rolled into one.
They also have a gorgeous formal garden, which was in full bloom.
Wow, how beautiful!

I wish more authors of this type of content would take the time you did to research and write so well. I am very impressed with your vision and insight.
Hello, I really appreciate your article, I thought that investing in real estate is more profitable as compared to investing in gold. And also there are less risk factors in real estate investment. So that’s why I personally prefer to invest in real estate.
