Peanut Butter Banana Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup peanuts chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • Mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder and salt) in one bowl.
  • Mix the wet ingredients (bananas, apple sauce, peanut butter, egg, vanilla) in another bowl.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  • Put the batter in muffin cups or tins.
  • Sprinkle the chopped peanuts on top of the muffins.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, until a browned on top.
