Cranberry Orange Sangria

orange
sliced

cup
cranberries
cinnamon stick

Chardonnay
Instructions
Combine the water, cranberries and sugar in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil for 10-15 minutes, while the cranberries pop and release juices.
Strain the mixture to remove the cranberries and leave a cranberry sugar syrup.
Combine the syrup with the orange, remaining cranberries, cinnamon stick and wine in a pitcher.
Chill for at least 3-4 hours and serve.
