Mango Jalapeno Ham Glaze

Ingredients

mangoes
1/4
c.
water
2
Tablespoon
sugar
1
jalapeno
1
teaspoon
lemon juice
Instructions
Cut and dice the mangoes. Combine them with the water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
2 mangoes,
1/4 c. water,
2 Tablespoon sugar
Reduce heat and simmer until the mangoes lose their shape and the sauce thickens, about 45 minutes. Add more water if it gets too thick.
Slice and de-seed the jalapeno and add to the mango mixture, along with 1 t. of lemon juice.
1 jalapeno,
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Cook for another 5 minutes.
Brush or spoon the glaze on the ham during the last 10 minutes of the ham's cooking time.
