1/2tablespoonolive oil
1tablespoonCajun spices
1/2tablespoongarlic powder
Instructions
Pat the wings dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
2 pounds fresh turkey wings
Optional - Use a sharp knife or kitchen shears to separate the wings at the elbow joint into the flat and drumette. Discard the wing tip.
Put them in a medium-sized bowl or zippered bag. Drizzle the oil over the top, then add the Cajun spices and garlic powder. Stir until they are well coated with spices.
Put them in the air fryer basket, keeping the wings in a single layer.
Air fry at 360 degrees F for 13 minutes. Then flip them over and air fry for another 13 minutes.
Use a digital meat thermometer to verify the wings have reached 165 degrees F. Make sure you test the thickest part of the wings.
Notes
Use your favorite spice mixture. Some suggested flavor combinations are chicken seasoning rub, Old Bay, BBQ rub, or just salt and black pepper.
These are very greasy, so the air fryer will get messy. If your air fryer tends to smoke, put a piece of bread underneath the basket to catch the grease. Or add a little water to the bottom to prevent smoking.
Keep the wings in a single layer without stacking.
They will cook faster if you separate the drummettes from the flat.
