Make country style ribs in the air fryer! These ribs are juicy inside with a smoky BBQ flavor. Perfect for a weeknight or for before summer grilling season hits.
Sprinkle both the top and bottom with the pork rub.
2 teaspoons pork rub
Put them in the air fryer in a single layer and cook at 400 degrees F. Cook for 17 minutes for boneless ribs and 20 minutes for bone in. Flip them over after 10 minutes of cooking time.
Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. For the most tender pork, cook until they reach 185 degrees F - 195 degrees F.
Brush the tops of the country style ribs with barbecue sauce.
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
Cook at 380 degrees F for 3 minutes. This caramelizes the sauce and helps it coat the ribs.
Cooking times are for 1 inch thick meat. If your ribs are thinner, they will need less cooking time. Always use a thermometer to check the temperature.Don't add the barbecue sauce until they are almost done. Adding it earlier could cause it to burn in the high heat of the air fryer.
